Type 1
Used on trinity consoles, this cable featured a red SATA cable and a yellow HDD power cable. The HDD power cable is connected to the motherboard under the S's HDDM.
Type 2
Used on corona & newer consoles, this cable changed the power cables from yellow to blue from the Type 1 cable. It also was modified to have a piece of heat shrink connecting the two cables together as the HDD power cable was moved over by the ODD and HDD SATA connectors.
Prototypes
The following prototypes were used on different consoles during the Xbox 360 lifecycle.
Xbox 360 S HDD Data/Power Cable
This cable snapped into the HDDM caddy instead of screwing into it like final consoles. This featured a red SATA cable and a yellow power cable.
