There are multiple DVD Drive models used in the Xbox 360, which are used for reading game discs, CDs, DVDs, and other disc-based media.

While the drives are interchangeable between models using the same form factor, they are paired to the keyvault using a unique, drive-specific DVD Key. The keyvault also contains the drive's OSIG, which contains the model number and revision.
