The Philips & Lite-On DG-16D2S is the final DVD drive used in the Original Xbox 360 series. Despite being the successor to the Philips & BenQ VAD6038, is nearly identical to it.

Information

Originally, there were multiple firmware versions used on the drive. These were all updated to 0251 when installing the 2.0.13141.0 update. This drive was used on Falcon, Jasper, and Tonasket systems. It was also used on refurbished Xenon and Zephyr systems. All firmware versions have support for AP2.5 security.
