Launched in mid 2010, the Xbox 360 S (colloquially known as the "Slim") features a major redesign of the console. It is much smaller, uses less power, and added WiFi. The Xbox 360 S has a glossy black finish and used the Trinity motherboard. It was later updated to the Corona and Corona Waitsburg motherboards. While initially only available with a 250GB hard drive, a 4GB model in a matte black finish was added to replace the Arcade. Around this time, the glossy finish was discontinued, and all Xbox 360 S consoles would be matte black. The console includes a black wireless controller, a composite A/V cable, and a black Xbox Live headset.
