Xbox 360 Development Console

Xbox 360 Development consoles have a dark charcoal gray case with a lighter gray type 1 Sidecar. They also have full Development Bootloaders, allowing game developers full access to the consoles memory to allow remote debugging.

Notes

  • The Manufacturing Label reads "Xbox 360 XDK"
  • Launcher reads "Development Kit"
  • 512MB of ram

Xbox 360-GB Development Console

Xbox 360-GB development consoles used a variation of the Jasper motherboard. First previewed at GDC 2009, alongside the reveal of updates to XNA Game Studio, Microsoft announced a new line of Xbox 360 Development Kits. Sporting a sleek chrome blue Sidecar, and bezel. As well as new version of the xFreedom with Blue LEDs. With a deep purple case. There are 3 variants of Xbox 360-GB Development Kits

Variant 1

Commonly referred to as 'EXPO' units amongst the community. They came with the 2009 XNA branded faceplate and branded Type 2 Sidecar with XNA tribal branding. These units are not to be confused with ADK EV3 configured units.

Equipped with standard non-branded faceplate. But, still retaining the XNA branded Sidecar.
