These units would be used by game developers to demonstrate builds of games at conventions. Demo Kits did not come with a Sidecar, instead they were packaged with a standard HDD.
Xenon Motherboard
Although being final hardware Xenon motherboards, early Xenon Demo Kits could also be seen with a secondary serial barcode sticker that would be commonly found on Beta Hardware. Xenon Demo kits have some variation when it comes to the presence of the 5v Standby header (J9A2); some have the header while some do not.
Zephyr Motherboard
Zephyr demo kits come in two variations
- Variation 1
- White MFR label with Demo Sticker around rear I/O
- Variation 2
- Black MFR sticker no Demo Sticker around rear I/O
Jasper Motherboard
Came in the same color case as the Elite Xbox 360 Console. Jasper demo kits have been seen with either having full development bootloaders as well as units with Test kit bootloaders.
