Test Kit
Xbox 360 Test Console
These units are white, resembling a retail console. They were also equipped with a white Sidecar. The Sidecar on Test Kits has its PIX port covered. But, the DVDEMU port remains uncovered. They also have Test Bootloaders which restricts access to the consoles memory, preventing remote debugging. This does not prevent Test Kits from playing dev signed content and packages. The main purpose of the Test Kit was to allow developers to test early game builds; by using either DVD emulation for quick deployment, or dev signed discs.
